Faith - He stayed 2 days longer - (John 11:1-44)

This is a story about Laz'arus who was ill, and his sisters Mary and Martha sent a message to Jesus saying "Lord, he whom you love is ill" but Jesus reply "This illnes is not unto death; it is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by means of it" and Jesus stayed 2 days longer in the place where He was.
When we read this story maybe we thought the same as Mary and Martha "Why Jesus didn't come quickly to heal laz'arus? Why He stayed 2 days longer?". Although we know that Jesus love Martha, Mary and Laz'arus (John 11:5) but Jesus had to stay longer because God had a plan to Jesus be glorified, to show His Glory trough Jesus.
God always know what is best for us, and He always planned something good for us (Jeremiah 29:11) So when we pray, don't get disappointed if God delay the answer we ask Him. Belive that He got some better answer for us, He want to show His Glory trough our life.

After two days, Jesus came to Martha and Mary, but Laz'arus was already dead. When Jesus arrived, Martha greet Him and say "Lord if You had been here, my brother would not have died..." and Jesus answered "Your brother will rise again" ... "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"(21-26) and Martha believe this and she call Mary to come see Jesus, and Mary came, weeping and say the same thing as Martha (32). When Jesus saw her weeping and the jews that come with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled (33).
Finally Jesus came, but Laz'arus had die. This is the point where we start loosing faith in God, He delayed our needs until we think that it is to late. But God wants us to have faith in Him, belive that He can do anything, that He can fix our problem no matter what happens.
In point 33, Jesus was deeply moved in spirit and troubled, was it because of Mary and the jews where weeping? No! Jesus troubled because He see no faith in them. God wants us to have faith in Him, and He sad and troubled if we didn't belive Him, have faith in Him.

Later in the story, Jesus bring Laz'arus back to life and trough this, the glory of the Lord procalimed.
Problems always came everyday in our life, that's why we pray everyday for God to help us solve our problems. But when God delayed the answer, don't lose faith, it will make Him sad. If God can bring dead people back to life, He surely can help us with our problems no mater what the situation looks like. Our problems is soooo small compared to the power of our Lord God Almighty, so don't lose faith, keeps praying, believe that He can do excedingly, abundantly above all that we could ever imagine, 'cause He can and will do it. Amin.
